READY STEADY BIKE TRAINING! ( session one)π’‰Ή

 Hi blogging world,

Today or 6/7/21 the senior classes had to do bike training we had lots of fun the senior class are going to be doing  session two tomorrow or 7/7/21 We did it with coaches named Loni and Jason

We also learnt about the parts of the bike, its like ABCD, which stands for Air, Brakes, Cains, Direction. some of us learnt how to and some of us did some games because we knew how to ride bike ツ Jason  taught us lots of new things like how to ride a bike on the road then we get older.

What I found challenging was when we had to do the slowest turtle game we had to be the slowest bike rider wins its like slow and steady.

I also enjoyed riding on the bikes I swapped with someone so I can get the big bikes even though I am short.

I am so excited for tomorrows session two i hope we get to do something really fun.

see if you can see me.

here is a video of the slowest turtle game

The Wonder project

 Salut les blogueurs,

In the senior school we been have been learning about rocket designs and Newton's Laws of Motion. We have learnt about how to be safe when launching your rockets. There are some important safety rules that you need to follow when launching a rocket here are some of them are:

  • wait until the rockets has landed before you go to retrieve it
  • don't launch your rocket when it is a windy or rainy day
  • wear safety googles and a hi-vis vest

We also learnt about the part of the rockets are like:
  • the top of the rocket is called a nosecone
  • 4 forces thrust, drag,weight and lift

We learnt how to launch a rocket like:
  • no more then 60pis or it will explode
  • lots of water = FAILURE (won't go high or it won't fly)

we learnt how to create rockets using bottle, we used cardboard to make fins and PAPER planes

My favourite part is when we finally got to launch the rockets

something I found challenging was making the rockets

would I like to do something like this? YES!

Waka description

 Waka description

Kamusta aking madla (hello my audience)

Paterson class learnt about way-finding navigation and how to build a waka on tinker-cad.

My waka has a hut in the centre of the beam and it has enough space to put some equipment in it.

My job on the waka is to be a captain assistant. I have to help or do what the captain tells me.

My waka hourua has sails made out of flax. Our waka hourua has all types of designs, like V-shaped hulls. The sails are from the Maori flax. As you can see in the image, I have a hut, sails, beam, and two hulls. If you don’t know what these are ask a teacher or someone you know who knows about waka.

I hope that you liked it.
